Waste Transfer Stations

The Bremer Bay and Jerramungup Waste Transfer Stations provide a temporary place for general waste and recyclable items to be stored before waste is taken offsite to other waste facilities. 

Jerramungup Opening Hours:

Located on Chittowurup Road, Jerramungup

Tuesday 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Sunday 10:00am - 4:00pm

Bremer Bay Opening Hours:

Located on Wellstead Road, Bremer Bay

Wednesday: 10.00am - 2.00pm
Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm

Waste Transfer Stations do not accept:

  • Asbestos
  • Building Waste
  • Chemicals
  • Paint
  • Oil at the Bremer Bay facility.

  The following items are accepted at both facilities:

  • Recyclable items: aluminium and steel cans, cardboard, glass, plastics (*excluding soft plastics)
  • Wood and scrap metal from domestic waste. This can only be accepted if it is separated and placed into the relevant collection points.

*Please note: soft plastics for recycling are not accepted. Any soft plastics suitable for recycling can be dropped off at a supermarket collection point or disposed of in the general waste bin.

Containers for Change drop off points are located within the town sites of Bremer Bay and Jerramungup. Check local community groups for locations.

The closest Regional Waste Facility is located within the Shire of Ravensthorpe and is located on Moir Road, Ravensthorpe.
