All owners and occupiers are required to clear inflammable material from firebreaks on or before the 10 October 2023, and thereafter maintain the firebreaks, up to and including the 30 April 2024. Please refer to the 2023/24 Fire Control Information notice for specific fire break requirements based upon your land usage and/or location. Hard copies of the Fire Control Information brochure can be obtained from the Jerramungup Shire office or Bremer Bay Community Resource Centre.

Please note that it is an offence to construct or maintain firebreaks on a road reserve without the prior approval of the Council, or Main Roads WA in the case of Declared Main Roads.
